Who will be our DJ?

Steven Meyering is the owner and the sole DJ for Love Notes Events, so he will personally be your DJ for your wedding or special event. Our team is growing, so Steve might be joined by one of our other team members. They are there to help (and won't cost you any extra!)

How do you dress for events?

Steve dresses professionally and appropriately for each event. For weddings, that typically means dark or gray-colored attire. For other events, Steve will dress appropriately for the theme, and that could range from business casual to a Hawaiian shirt.

Do you also provide MC/Master of Ceremonies services?

Yes. We can make all of the necessary announcements throughout your wedding or event. As part of our advance planning, we will work with you to determine the schedule.

Can you provide references or reviews from past clients?

Do you provide wedding ceremony officiant services?

Yes. Steve is a licensed minister and can perform legal ceremonies if the couple has their wedding certificate. See our officiant services page to learn more.

Can you provide music for both the ceremony and the reception?

Yes. Our regular package covers one setup in your reception room. If your ceremony is in a separate room or different location and you would like music and/or microphones, we can provide you a custom quote.

Can we customize our playlist?

Absolutely! I work with you to create a customized playlist that reflects your taste and style. Through our online planning portal, you can designate Love It, Like It, and Do Not Play songs.

Do you take song requests from guests?

If you'd like us to take requests, we are happy to do so. Of course, we would only play requests that are a good match for the vibe and style that we outline with you before your event.

How do you handle song requests that may not fit the event’s atmosphere?

We have up-front, all-inclusive pricing that you can find on our investment page. The fees shown apply to most events of six to eight hours. If your needs are outside of this scope, we can customize a package for your specific needs.
